2026 Women's day

Annually, the DC International Christian Church (DCICC) hosts its flagship Women’s Day event, a high-impact initiative designed to attract, support, and encourage women from across the local community. The overarching goal for the 2026 event was to spread widespread public awareness and engineer a deeply memorable, sophisticated experience that left attendees feeling empowered and inspired. Backed by my professional design background, I was called upon to completely spearhead the event’s brand identity, creative direction, and multi-channel social media marketing strategy.

Design Concept SKILLS: CREATIVE DIRECTION | BRAND ARCHITECTURE | SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING | EXPERIENTIAL EVENT DESIGN | PRINT PRODUCTION | MOTION GRAPHICS | ADVERTISING & GROWTH ANALYTICS

PROJECT: I stepped in to build a comprehensive visual ecosystem from scratch. Taking full creative ownership, I designed a unified brand blueprint that scaled across all digital channels, environmental decor, print production, and event souvenirs. To execute this vision under strict timelines, I built and managed a team of 10 social media volunteers, organized our content pipelines, ran targeted advertising, managed vendor print production, and served as the central brand authority.
CONCEPT INSIGHT: From past campaign data, I knew the central key art flyer needed to feature a female representation that was intentionally ambiguous and completely inclusive of any demographic. To solve this, I determined that elegant silhouettes would serve as our strongest visual anchor. I utilized Canva AI to generate a diverse array of custom silhouettes in various dynamic poses. After developing and refining multiple design drafts, the final layout was chosen to serve as the master creative blueprint for the entire event ecosystem.

PROJECT: A core component of my role was translating the digital brand into physical, commercial-grade event touchpoints. I took complete charge of vendor management and print procurement to bring our physical collateral to life. I designed large-format banner ups, on-site signage, and customized event souvenirs, including printed apparel and branded compact mirrors. I also served as the absolute quality control gatekeeper; all additional visual elements generated by other event planners had to route through me for formal review to guarantee absolute brand consistency.

Social Media Campaign & Content Management

To build audience momentum, I designed a strict content calendar to arrange our team’s creative concepts and streamline production. I managed our team of 10 volunteers to execute a high-volume social media pipeline, maintaining a rolling schedule of 4 reels and high-end posts per week leading up to the launch. I personally directed and generated key promotional reels while actively running social advertising campaigns and analyzing backend metrics to drive organic growth.
